Living with diabetes.
Well, this is my first entry of many.. I'm sure. I want to start off with what I wrote in my about me section. I'm going to go …
My name is Brandi and I'm 25 years old. I am currently a customer service representative and I love what I do. I have a wonderful family whom I love dearly and the best friends any girl could ask for. My addictions are music and sunflower seeds. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes when I was 16 after a trip to the hospital. My legs kept hurting and the pain was so strong it brought me to tears. I'm looking for people in the same position as me to talk to. HELP! ;)

Depression is hereditary. Both sides of my family have a history of it and it was inevitable that I would be diagnosed. I have been on anti-depressants since I was 20. I went through a divorce, lost my Father and 2 very close friends all in 1 year. My dosage has doubled since then. No surprise. But it helps. I just try to deal with things as they come at me. Sometimes I can do it.. sometimes I can't. But it is what it is.
I have had acne since my 8th grade year. I was an early bloomer and was shocked that it didn't happen before that. My Mom did one of the worse things imaginable and picked at my face causing my scaring today. I have tried many treatments and it has gotten better over the last couple of years. I'm just thankful I'm not in school anymore. Kids can be so cruel!
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes when I was 16. I had my glucose levels where they were supposed to be until I moved out on my own. I'm trying to get back to that. My doctor has told me that at the rate I'm going, I will not live to see 30. I'm 25.
