About Me
I am the mother of 2 wonderful sons and a beautiful daughter. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband for over 9 years. I have had scoliosis since 12 but it has gotten worse. Now I have been diagnosed with degenerative scoliosis, kyphosis, degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, and syringomyelia. I am waiting for a decision on my ssdi application and seeing a neurosurgeon in july.

My family and friends, reading, scrapbooking, and computer games. I used to enjoy walking and playing backyard baseball with my kids, but have been unable to since my conditions have progressed.

Type: Loss of a ParentI lost my father on February 2, 2009. I still feel lost without him. I always was and always will be a Daddy's girl. Now I am trying to learn how to go on without him. He was always the one to save me. Now I'm having health problems and he's gone. He was always my biggest fan.

- I wrote a song for my dad about growing up with him. He was so proud of that. Remembering how happy that made him helps me.

- I pray all the time. If I didn't I'd never get through my life without my dad.

- I love remembering the stories my dad used to tell me. It makes me smile. I also love sharing them with other family members and my kids.

Open Degenerative Joint Disease
I have had scoliosis since age 12 and am now 34. I was just diagnosed with DJD, DDD, syringomyelia, and now degenerative scoliosis. I'm trying to understand all the diagnoses.
