Diagnosed with RA and fibro 2 yrs ago. Add that to diabetes, depression, IBS with a hiatal hernia - My best times are those spent with Leaven and Steel, but they are rough on grandma! Here's a hug, hoping things are going better with you and your family. It is so hard when someone you love is laid off. It gets really tense when it is a husband who thinks he needs to provide/protect. It just takes the heart out of a man and we the wives have to figure out how to deal with it! They sure as heck aren't going to recognize the emotion of it! Hope the hug helps as you are in my prayers.

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
Diagnoses are RA, Raynauds, Fibro, OA, Diabetes, depression and IBS. been in treatment for RA for 2 1/2 yrs.
Treatments
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- keeps my mouth sores down to a minimum after MTX injections. Also Leucovorin, another form of folic acid, called folinic acid.
- Humira Too Soon to Tell
- I will be starting Humira next week.
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- Although I have problems with mouth sores, sometimes I think the MTX is the only thing that really helps.
- Orencia Not Working
- Did not feel I made any progress after 8 infusions.
- Plaquenil Somewhat Helpful
- I suppose its working-been on it non-stop for 2 yrs now.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I use it for a few days when I have a bad flare.
- Relafen Not Working
- just didn't help
