Journal Entry for August 31, 2009
Tody I had yogurt, a tostada and a nectarine. I've lost another pound, too! Yay, maybe I'll continue to move in the right …
I am separated from my husband of 32 years, currently living with my mom while he stays in our home with our 16-year old son whom I miss greatly! I finally walked after years of abuse and thought I could get myself back on my feet within 6 months. Actually, I know I could have, if he had played fair. I needed him to give me $$ out of his 401k (my 401k's were cashed out and spent trying to keep our home, after I stopped working). Anyway, long story short, here I am 4 years later! Sigh, I suck at life. Can't even find a job... Well that's about it, except I'm usually pretty upbeat!

I've had anxiety since I was 5. I was anorexic at 12. My first major depressive period was from 15 to 17. Between 18 and 35 (the wonder years!) I was quite manic. Then at 38 I started sliding into another bad depressive period that lasted until I was put into a psychiatric hospital at age 50. Now at 52 I am taking Paxil, Abilify and Remeron and am feeling a whole lot better (but I do miss the mania).
