  Yeah, a lot of people down here think that if you can outrun it, then you can either smother it with sauce and BBQ it - or smother it with cornmeal and deep fry it. Either way, we like to make sure our food is good 'n' dead before we eat it. Sushi bars are called "bait shops." The closest we get to sushi is Captain D's and Long John Silvers. Nah, it's not really like that. Well, not everywhere. But SOME people do ask for tartar sauce and hush puppies with their sushi. Oh... You should try the Dale's Sauce - and Milo's Tea! Those are Alabama staples.

  I was an EA too! For about 10 years... Yeah, the humidity kicks MY butt too! That's the worst thing about living in the south. Great food, lots of sunshine, but you can cut the air with a knife! Lots of storms too; BAD for fibro! It has rained for most of the past six weeks! :-( Yikes! Makes me want to move to Arizona.

  bEST OF LUCK. I applied finally for fibro the other yr, but I used a lawyer my physcian assistant told me about long ago, I didn't belvive I'd get it so I never tried, I had to supply alot of papers from doctors, etc. I never even met the lawyer and of course he took his "cut" but he got me disability. HOw I wish I was better and could work. being home, usuaslly alone, my fibro and osteoarthirist have gotten worse, I don't volunteer cause one must be reliable and how I miss people! I can only tell you I didn't even know you could apply online, I would advise if you can, learn of a lawyer that does disability and use him....he'll take his cut out of your disabiliyt lost paymnets.   I tried darvocet when I was younger and not as sensitive as I am now. It made me so loopy I couldn't change a diaper. Tylenol does me ok. At least I'm getting a little more sleep.

  Thank you! I needed that hug. I've got to watch it on the long posts; I tend to go into way more detail than is needed sometimes. I guess that's my nature with the work I used to do. But I hope it helps. I wish that I had someone who could've better explained things to me so I wouldn't have been so anxious through the disability claims process. That can be a scary time. I guess I mostly learned through my disabled family members' mistakes! Thank you for being so sweet!

  Thanks for the hug. I wanted to share that one of the things I like about being single (w/this disease,especially) is the simplicity of my life now. And even though I miss having a supportive man I do not feel the pressure I know I would feel when I need to just sit and mend. It's just me and the pooch, who gives me so much love. Prayer helps too--you've got my prayers. You don't have to solve everything today. Peace!
