Yeah, a lot of people down here think that if you can outrun it, then you can either smother it with sauce and BBQ it - or smother it with cornmeal and deep fry it. Either way, we like to make sure our food is good 'n' dead before we eat it. Sushi bars are called "bait shops." The closest we get to sushi is Captain D's and Long John Silvers. Nah, it's not really like that. Well, not everywhere. But SOME people do ask for tartar sauce and hush puppies with their sushi. Oh... You should try the Dale's Sauce - and Milo's Tea! Those are Alabama staples.

I’m With You
I was an EA too! For about 10 years... Yeah, the humidity kicks MY butt too! That's the worst thing about living in the south. Great food, lots of sunshine, but you can cut the air with a knife! Lots of storms too; BAD for fibro! It has rained for most of the past six weeks! :-( Yikes! Makes me want to move to Arizona.

I was diagnosed with Fibro about 10 years ago but I'm sure I've had it at least 14 years. I am now going through a divorce and filing for disability
Treatments
- Guaifenesin Working / Worked
- This works but is too expensive otc to use
- Heat Working / Worked
- good for flare-ups
- Lyrica Not Working
- I couldn't get past the side effects with this drug.
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- fair though i gained weight with it and that was not worth the small relief it gave
- Ultram Working / Worked
- I take one or two 50m per day, it takes the edge off the pain
- Darvon Working / Worked
- I use this in conjunction with the Tramadol Ultram.. usually one per day in the afternoon as taking the Ultram too late in the day effects my sleep
- Xanax Working / Worked
- Excellent for anxiety. I take 1/4 to 1/2 as needed
- Lexapro Somewhat Helpful
- this was fine for a couple of years but the weight gain was more depressing than anything.. so bye bye Lexapro.. also darn hard to get off of!! Really weird symptoms
