“Why me?” she asks as she pulls the scissors down her hip yet again
“Why me!?” “WHY ME?!?”
Her heart burns
Her throat aches
Her hip stings
But nothing comes…
The tears start to pour out of her face
Because the blood won’t pour out of her hip
“This must be what going crazy feels like,” she thinks to herself
As she goes to find something sharper
Something
Anything
To draw the blood
So she can gain the calm she’s become so accustomed to
But nothing seems to work
The tears stream out faster
Harder
“There has to be another way!” she thinks
Searching
Searching
Always searching
She’s more confused than she’s ever been
But one thing she knows for sure
This monster has got her in it’s hold
And it doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to let go…

Do you have other poems? That one was so vivid, so real, & had so much imagery. You could most likely help others with "cutting" or anorexia, or depression. You should really save all your writings, keep them together, and even consider getting published, if the rest are like this one!
