I really feel that way.  I have so many cramps that I just want to curl up and cry all day, but what am I to do?  AF is so light and it's like "old" if you know what i mean? sorry if that's TMI.  This means that monday morning they are going to have to take a sample of that linning.  I am so thankful that my sister is up and staying with me now because she will be able to watch Corbin while they do that. I am nervous though. I am thinking about asking them for something that is a little stronger then just motrin because nothing is working with these cramps, and I am sure that after they scrape inside of me, I am really going to be cramping.  Has anyone gone through this before and can tell me what to expect? Tomorrow I also start on 100 mg of Clomid which is up from 50 mg.  I just don't understand.  If i'm having a period on my own, doesn't that mean I'm ovulating?  That means the Clomid is working right?  Then why is he pushing the doesage up?  OH well, I am going to makea list of questions to ask the doctor when I see him.

I asked my doctor the same thing. I said if I ovulate and dont get pregnant what would we do. She said even if you ovulate she would up my dosage the next month because maybe I need just a little more of a push to get pregnant.

Are you on Provera or do you cycle on your own? I'm thinking, though, that the Clomid helps the ovulation process, maybe making it a little more "productive", if you will. I have to be on Provera to even cycle, and that isn't even working after a month and a half. I started on 10 mg, up to 20 mg, now I just finished 40 mg and if I don't cycle w/in a few days, I swear I'ma just cry this time. This is so disappointing to not even get a period, no matter how much medication I take. I envy those who cycle on their own. I suspect the doctor just wants to up your Clomid to help getting pregnant a little more likely. Or so is my guess. But your best bet is to ask them what they're thinking. At least then you're on the same page as your doctor and you understand their angle and you can voice your feelings as well. Your feelings are very important in this process. Best of luck to you in your journey!

they will up the dosage every month because the body gets used to the clomid quickly. good luck with your testing and i hope you feel better soon!
ps- just because you have a period doesnt mean that you ovulated. your body could just be going through the motions.

I usually don't get my period unless i'm put on Provera but the last two cycles i have got my period on my own. And after I wrote this journal I went out on a date with my hubby. WHen we stopped to pick up my son and sister at a friends house, i started cramping like no other and then all the sudden I started feeling swishes and so i went to the bathroom and it was like an explosion or something. Blood was every where. I had to ask my friend for some pants. I have HUGE clots and I filled up a pad in like 15mins. I am hoping that was enough to clean me out so that they don't have to do a biopsy of the linning. it's still coming and hurting. I haven't been in this much pain in a long time.

I also have always wondered why people always complain about geting their cycle because it was always a big deal for me. Good luck to everyone who commented! And sorry for the tmi.

I hope you get some answers soon. I know what you mean about being rapt when you get your period - I don't get them very often these days - maybe once every six months so feel like throwing a small party when one turns up! ;) Take care.
