My wonderful Husband and I were happily married in June of 2007 and knowing that we probably weren't going to be having children, we were surprised two months later that we were expecting. We now have been trying since January 2009 to have another baby, but we haven't had a lot of luck. We are on Metformin, Clomid, and Pravera. God is good and I know that he will bless with me with another child one day. I am also a student at Warner University studying pastoral studies. My husband is in the United states Coast Guard so we have moved quite often, but I wouldn't change that for anything. I love my husband so very much, and am so happy that i'm going to be spending the rest of my life with him!

Interests
Cooking. I love cooking and trying new recipes. I also love volleyball. the beach is my favorite place, and i will most likely be found in the ocean rather then lying on the beach. camping, hiking anything outside really. Snow boarding is such an awesome thing!

Thank you so much for your support! I started the lupron injection yesterday. At first I was scared but it wasn't too bad. I am so happy to have you guys here on DS. It is great that you ovulated this cycle. I will keep my finger crossed for you guys.

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
16 diagnosed with PCOS. Married, June 9, 2007. got pregnant with Metphormin and welcomed my son on April 27, 2008. Trying for number two, but just really depressed and need a support group. My doctor checked my ovaries last visit and said that they are filled with cyst, and may need to get them removed. :(
Treatments
- Metformin Working / Worked
- i was started on this when i was 17 years old because my parents didn't believe in BC. When my husband and I got married and decided to have children I had been on it for two years, and the first month i was pregnant. It helped with weight problems... i lost a some weight, some extra unwanted hair growth slowed down. i felt so much better both physically and emotionally on it.
- Oral Contraceptives Somewhat Helpful
- i know it helped with my problems of not ovulating. it's bc what else did i expect, but since i didn't feel it was helping the underline problem of PCOS. i used it for about six months after having my son. I didn't realize that it dried up breast milk, so that upset me quite a bit.
- Provera Working / Worked
- horrible period. I bleed so much that i was actually worried i was loosing too much blood, and the pain was miserable. they came in contraction form. Every few minutes they would get worse. i was so glad i only had to take it for the two weeks.

June of 2007 i married my DH. August 2007 found out we were expecting. November 2007 Dh joined the USCG. April 2008 welcomed our son. since he joined USCG we have moved 2 times and will be moving again in October.
