  hiya poppy,
  oh yes the gas pains are horrid, i couldnt breathe in or out... just tiny breath like i was giving birth lol.
  i hope you update me later to see how you will get treated/etc.
  im not so great, i had an appointment and found out they sent me to the wrong specialist by doing my own research after.. making calls etc. no wonder he said he couldnt help !
  its a very complicated case, i have been talking to the correct specialists after ringing the wrong specialist to seek out another one that could help. so i have an appointment with one coming up and then the procedure/treatment the next day. but we are still unsure as of yet if they can help. he said i may have a very rare random case of it, and he can only help if my pelvic varicose is being caused by groin ones. ahhh too confusing... so many more details. i have been researching hard and connecting things.

  oh ok.. ( bout the scans ) i guess i started with all of that for elimination as they had no idea what was or still is wrong with me. lap is like the last thing where something could be found. and i remember u saying that u hadnt even seen a gynae yet... so i guess they will then eh..

  pre op i dont think is scans. well it's good that you went for the lap option, as i dont think the pill helps with many people at all. i am still waiting for my letter in the mail for the date of my lap and pre op date.

  I have the same problem as you. It controls your life. Try cutting out Gluetin products, mainly carbs. Their are special foods that are Gluetin free and really have made a difference for me. Gluetin is in bread, pasta, etc. Every grocery store has these products you pay a little more but in the end it saves you money and less pain. Also watch for rines on fruit, example if you eat an apple peel off he rind, it is harder for our bodies to digest. Hope you feel better :)
