I am sorry that you are in pain. Its a good thing that they didnt find anything with your surgery, but I know it is frustrating that they didnt find you any answers either.

oh yes the gas pains are horrid, i couldnt breathe in or out... just tiny breath like i was giving birth lol.
i hope you update me later to see how you will get treated/etc.
im not so great, i had an appointment and found out they sent me to the wrong specialist by doing my own research after.. making calls etc. no wonder he said he couldnt help !
its a very complicated case, i have been talking to the correct specialists after ringing the wrong specialist to seek out another one that could help. so i have an appointment with one coming up and then the procedure/treatment the next day. but we are still unsure as of yet if they can help. he said i may have a very rare random case of it, and he can only help if my pelvic varicose is being caused by groin ones. ahhh too confusing... so many more details. i have been researching hard and connecting things.

oh ok.. ( bout the scans ) i guess i started with all of that for elimination as they had no idea what was or still is wrong with me. lap is like the last thing where something could be found. and i remember u saying that u hadnt even seen a gynae yet... so i guess they will then eh..

- Extended-Cycle Birth Control Not Working
- I used to run 2 packs of my pill together if i knew i had plans and didnt want my period ruining them, it used to work but as my symptoms have became worst this method isnt working aswell. Sometimes it does other times my period will just come anyway..and when least expected! I changed my pill too so this may be why its not working as well.
- Mefenamic Acid Working / Worked
- It helps ease the pain for me. I havehad to start taken rintidene with mine, i was getting bad stomach cramping. Make sure to eat something first otherwise youl get an upset tummy.
Close Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Thought to have ibs since i started my periods, now ive been told its down to endometriosis. My mum struggled for years with her ibs-A.
Treatments
- Acidophilus Working / Worked
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- I avoid white breads and to much pasta as these fill me up and bloat me, also rice. I fi do eat white bread i keep it to one sandwhich, and eat pasta slowly.
- High Fiber Diet Working / Worked
- I eat a good diet with alot of fruit, veg, soups that contain lentils and veg and also eat fish and filling meals for dinner. I eat wholegrain breads. I find tha ti cant eat to much bran or it makes my BMs loose. Fibre keeps my digestive system running smoothly and keeps me regular.
- Imodium Working / Worked
- I get D and loose bms near my period, i tried imodium a few times but cant handle it, it constipates me for weeks.
- Mebeverine Working / Worked
- Mebeverine doesnt work for me (possibly becasue i have been told i probably dont have ibs) but it works well for my mum who says it helps calm down her Diaherra when she gets it and stop the cramping.
- Probiotics Working / Worked
Open Hypermobile Syndrome
i have dislocated both my knees and had to get both re-alined after years of being told i just had 'growing pains'. i was diangnosed with hypermobile joint syndrome when i was 14 after my first dislocation.
Open Acne
i developed acne when i was 13, it covered my face and upper part of my back. finally i am acne free!
Treatments
- Benzoyl Peroxide Somewhat Helpful
- this worked well when i had alot of acne spots, i still use it and it keeps any spots under control. The only side effect is for teh first while it made my skin very dry and flakey, i used a oil free moisturiser on top of it and drank more water.
- Tetracycline Somewhat Helpful
- i used oxytetracycline for years..it was extremly helpful for me, withing a couple of weeks my skin was improved and it helped to keep the big acne spots away. I didnt notice any side effects of these.
- Washing Somewhat Helpful
- i looked for cleansing lotions with acne busting ingrediants. Clean and clear have a good one, that left my skin fresh looking, soft and helped to clean my skin. i still use it today.
- Clarithromycin Somewhat Helpful
- I started to drink more water because of other health problems 2 litres a day and started eating more fruits and veg and cutting out junk foods. i didnt do it to help my acne but it made a noticable improvement my skin looked fresher more radient and brighter.
