Just had my 1st anniversary alone and it was difficult. People just don't know what to say to you on that day. My sisters were very caring and wanted to make sure I was okay. It will always be a special day and I hope next year I will react better than I did this year. Hugs, Gloria

My husband of 34 yrs passed away from lung cancer. It's been 17mos today (5/21/09). We had been together forever, at least I thought it would be forever. I was 16yrs old when we started dating, he was 20yrs old. We have 2 sons and 4 grandkids. 2007 was a bittersweet year. Two of our grandkids were born and I lost my best friend, my husband. I miss him very much.
