I read your post and could not agree more. I replied there, but wanted to follow up on my reply that we should still remain caring individuals, no matter how the rest of society behaves. I am 34 yo male, single for two years after a painful divorce. I am established with my career but I am incapable of forming any friendship with anyone, let alone dating again. I also seem to lack any common interest with other people. I am not religious, don't like the bars, don't care for the sports, to name just a few. I have other interests but I am yet to find another soul that shares them, I constantly feel "the wrong species" and it starts to bother me more and more...
