Things are still going amazingly well. Yesterday, day 24, Dr. Fisher removed the second half and last of Jim's 59 staples. As if that …
Hi! My dearest friend was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in early April 2009 (HepC). I came to this site full of questions and in search of answers and ways to help him, and was so blessed by all the knowledgeable people here. We made it through the worst of times in part because of what I learned here which made it possible to be proactive with his doctors and his care. I am happy to say that he was blessed with a transplant on October 10, 2009 and is doing marvelously!

I love music, walks on the beach, watching people, laughing, hugging, sitting on my porch swing or around a fire pit in the back yard chatting with friends or just listening to the sounds of life. I love to cook when I am doing it with someone. I love flowers and try to keep something blooming in my flower beds all the time. Flowers make me smile and when I look at the intricate details within them I am reminded that God is real and God is good. I enjoy reading (fiction by Woods, Patterson, Cornwall) and writing. I prefer to type my "writing" since typing is something I've been doing since I was 14.

I'm here to help without any hidden agenda whatsoever - CAPECHE???
Don't forget to call me at anytime!!! I would hate to see you two break up because of the way these chemicals are affecting Jim and how overwhelming all of this is for you Klga! You don't deserve all of this crap believe me I know, but please hang in there, and things will get much better soon enough! Also, don't let the daughter get under your skin even though it's hard not to... She's reacting this way because she doesn't know how to express how scared she really is, and Jim is doing the same right now! I've been there and done that too!!! Almost lost my entire family because I didn't know how to handle my fears, but for the Grace of God, I let go and Let God which helped me look inward to see what I was doing to the people who loved me regardless of what I became, and from there I changed for the better.
May God Bless Both of You!!!
Respectfully,
Henry
