Went thru a very tough time in May '09, regarding infidelity by my H. Was considering divorce, but have given it some time, due to a 12 yr. marriage, and it being his first "emotional affair". Now, in mid July, am attempting at working at repairing the marriage by attending counseling, insisting that he "come clean" on details, and his constant demonstration that he needs to prove himself so that I can regain: trust, respect, and love. So far, so good! Not completely out of the woods yet, as my motto goes: "Taking it day by day, step by step, a little weary, and a little leery". Have found DS to be invaluable, plus counseling, plus allowing myself to speak up for myself, more than ever! Love reaching out to friends here, and have made some excellent sweet dear friends! I love ya ZXJ & MushT, and enjoyed our conversations. Def U2 have been so helpful! So many others to name (SnoopDog, DadwHope) along with a couple newfound friends). Hope I can use my experience to help anyone else.

Been married for 12 years. He found a new "best friend", co-worker. They've been calling, texting, emailing secretly for about 2 years. He swears nothing sexual transpired. Don't believe him, since our intimacy turned non-existant for 2 years. He has hidden the phone records, has them on line only, been very defensive, does not seem sorry, while I've been angry, accusatory, depressed, and crying my eyes out. Don't believe I can trust again, plus his actions don't truly show remorse.
I was married for 12 years,now he's had an "emotional" affair with his co-worker. Found the texts, emails, and phone logs, very obsessive over 45 a day on a slow day. He claims he didn't think he was doing anything wrong, because he swears there was no sex involved. How do you believe a lier, deceiver, who hides this for over 3 years. He doesn't seem remorseful at all, just uses idle words, but no true feelings of despair or being upset while I cry my eyes out and ask why?
