Shot #5 Coming up 7/4/09 Mood
Thursday, July 2, 2009 | A Positive story

OK folks....

As we say, another day in paradise... Shot #5 coming up this saturday....

It has been an experience through 4 weeks of getting in tune with the body. Letting it tell me what i can and cannot do. Still after 4 weeks the sides are very mild, the biggest side i have is dry mouth especially an hour or 2 after taking the riba pills. I do notice different changes in afternoon energy. Mostly where i just kick back and rest till the sun hits the trees, where before it was balls out till dark doing normal at home chores. I suspect as i have read, that it takes 5,6, maybe 7 shots to feel the full effect of tx as it takes approximately 6 months to clear the body post tx. My outlook is very positive as my body comes up to full song with this creature we are killing. I feel a lil guilty with such mild sides as i know some of my friends on here are having exactly the opposite. My heart is with anyone who is living the HELL experience.

I have a doc appt. today at 3:30 and when they called to remind me yesterday i was sure to let the nurse know i was changing things a bit. I would be giving my doc a checkup this round.

To be cont...

Still in control of your Treatment, I see, good for you.
The hardest side and more obvious one, is the extreme fatigue, that one is the biggy.
Unfortunately, we can't plan nothing, cause it always depends on how we feel during the day.
    But your doing fantastic, friend.
Keep us posted on your Doc's appointment.
    Love Mckenzie
