Depression Mood
Wednesday, November 4, 2009 | A Painful story
It's official.  I've now entered into a depression.  I've been there before.  The goal is not having it last longer than it is purposeful.  Depression can be a good thing if used properly.  I now must remember how to do this and not allow it to be the cause of stupidity.  I'll return when I can...

I don't know if you will read this for awhile but if you do: Dear Brother be as kind to you as you are with others. You neen to take the necessary measures to heal your heart. It is my guess that you're entering another growing period on your journey. 24/7 you have taken on the heartaches and burdens of others...it is now time to listen to what your heart is saying. You are in my prayers. Hugs.

BrotherRoy you jump out of this depression and fake it till you make it. We have both been thru alot but you are a man of faith and nothing is going to put you down...Life is so much more special with you in it so put a damn smile on your face and keep on going you are a fighter and you keep fighting it. I know depression will get you down but we never now how much life we have left on this earth so you smile because you never know how many more minutes, days, hours we have left...keep on going and live to the fullest. You have so much to offer everyone...I do not want to see you put horrible on that feeling thing because I know damn well you would do everything you could to make sure I was smiling and I will be damned sorry to see you upset. So even if your faking it smile and laugh. heck watch something that brings laughter it will make you feel so much better. You give so much advice to others that you help, now it's your turn..whatever your going thru will pass and you will be just fine:)

Thanks SullsMum, sometimes I forget I need a break, too. I often overlook what's going on with me for the benefit of others. This might be considered selfish because it makes "me" feel good to do it; but, at what expense? Won't be much good if I allow myself to fall and keep on the downward spiral!

How true my friend. I know exactly what you are saying, it is very rewarding to reach out and help others. But what I have found is, you ignore your own pain and try to bury it, try to forget. But those unresolved issues are only in hiding, waiting for an opportunity to be heard. It seems when all is said and done and it is time to rest - all you have buried creeps out. The wounds that have not healed are demanding attention. Brother I've said it before but you are in need for a re-fill. I also would like to mention the book, A boy named It. I think there you may find some answers and aids to healing. Be kind to you, you are important. God made you and loves you. You matter. Warm thoughts and prayers. Hugs
