I have been diagnosed with PCOS for years now. I cannot tolerate artificial hormones or bc pills. I seek natural and herbal chiropractic medicine for my disease. Need support for the emotional and physical side effects as well as relational effects on loved ones.Recent college graduate trying to get into grad school would like to earn Masters in Literature to instruct at small college. Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Have been diagnosed for years.25 years old. Want a family one day. Have tried but cannot tolerate BC pills.Trying herbal/chiropractic treatment to lower insulin resistance and exercise.Want a family one day.Symptoms/Syndrome is getting worse. :(
Treatments
- Oral Contraceptives Not Working
- I have extreme emotional crying spells around my menstraul cycle. Especially when I skip a period. Stress increases side effects.On antibiotics for months and Retin-A for the cystic acne alone. Excessive sweating, hair, have to be on low carb diet constantly, insecurity and anxiety and depression from disease. (The Pills: EXTREME DEPRESSION AND WEIGHT GAIN. Tried 3). Only one working ovary now, only 25 and want a family.
- Writing Working / Worked
- Helps to write out the pain and suffering that the disease can produce. When others dont know how to deal with hearing it your pen and paper can. Helps to group goals and selfmotivations.
Close Acne
Cystic Acne from PCOS. chronic
Treatments
- Benzoyl Peroxide Working / Worked
- irritated skin tissue. yet the RX benzol 4% fash wash does help! Will dry out skin though
- Minocycline Working / Worked
- All Cycline antibiotics help with inflammation and acne though it works moderately if PCOS is the cause.
- Proactiv Somewhat Helpful
- Helpful at first, have used for years. Doesn't even touch the big ones though. The cream does help even out tone
- Retin-A Working / Worked
- Dries out skin fast and makes it more sensitive but does help with excess oil and cystic acne. Takes longer than expected. Can make skin flake off and look scaley.
- Washing Working / Worked
- With RX benzol creams, just don't be excessive and use Neutragena non-acne causing sunscreen light facial lotion. Too much washing can cause excess oil secretions.
Open Anxiety
Generalized Anxiety disorder with severe panic attacks. Leads to depression and feelings of inadaquacy.

- Can help but also can cause mental confusion and disorientation for days after.
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- Addictive. On .5 mg 4 times daily. After yeras of use notice when I miss a dose.

- POISON! Extreme anger outbursts and rage!
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- Valium Somewhat Helpful
- Can speed up heartrate. Useful prior to surgeries but scary thoughts can make it more harmful.
- Xanax Not Working
- Caused emotional crying spells.
- Zoloft Not Working
- weight gain, numbness
