      large parathyroid gland removed 04/09-only found this one.(.total thyroidectomy in 1984 -saved 2 ) on calcium rest of my life which is OK. ...However, recent blood test --"intact PTH 31 (normal 15-86 pg/ml) I wonder if this means i have a "piece" of Parathyroid left???? Curent calciumlevel "normal" but have to take 3 GMS calcium a day.. Any opinions???
