Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
Had a DVT in my right leg in 2007, with PE. Was on Coumadin for 7 1/2 months, then taken off. Went to emregency room after Christmas in 08 with breathing symptoms as my PE in 07. Was released with nothing wrong, but had to go back two weeks later. DVT now in left leg. No PE this time. It's been 104 days since being released from the hospital, my leg still swollen along with foot and ankle. Going for a second opinion 5-21 on whether the Coumadin therapy is workig.
