Sadly, I found out my step-dad in Va. died, Patrick and I are headed up for the funeral shortly.  Ironically, we had just talked to him telling him we may be coming up for a visit soon.  He sounded great, so glad we were planning on the trip.  Thankfully Patrick talked to him as well.  He died of a heart attack.

His wife said that she had called me several times as John had died Tues. but no one would answer the phone.  If Dylan is on the phone he won't answer if someone beeps in.  We missed the viewing and the Memorial!  Thankfully she got me yesterday so we won't be missing the funeral.

I've had it with that kid!  Told him he's out of here. go do not come back, that was BEFORE I'd found out that he wasn't answering the other line.  I was in such shock over John's death that I didn't even think of that.  When Sandy called he threw the phone at me saying that it was Sandy and John died then left.  Don't know about that whole situation...

I write more when I return.
