Close Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

I'm just starting on my journey to "figure out" what is causing the numbness and pain in my fingers. My GP is sending me to a Neurologist for an EMG. This pain has been going on for about 6 months. It started by waking me up at night. I now wear a brace every night, but sometimes even that doesn't help. Now my thumb, index finger and middle finger are numb almost all of the time. As you all know, it is really getting on my nerves. I wouldn't say the pain in unbearable, but it's bad.

Treatments

Ibuprofen Not Working

I've tried Ibuprofen several times and I don't notice any change.

Wrist Splint Working / Worked

It helps at night sometimes, but the pain still wakes me up.
