I have just finished 48 weeks of tx and found out today, another 48 weeks again. Kind of blows my mind. Not sure if Im ready for this.

On the same tx plan? No talk of a trial? You can take the time you need to make the best decision for you, we'll do the prayers.

So Sorry to hear that, I'm just a couple of weeks into tx and don't know if I could handle a second round. It breaks my heart to hear that. Wishing only the best for you. I will pray for you too.

Oh no, ask for one for the slow responders, they have many in the works now, so do not settle for less.
Of course it's your decision, but I would go for one made especially for slow respondent.
Just my 2 cents.

ps: if this was his big plan, he should have just put you on a additional weeks, depending when you were undie, which was week 18 if I am not mistaken.
Then you should have done an additonal 6 weeks, now that would have made sence. This way you would have put in that 36 weeks post undie status. You know what I mean.?

ditto............what they said! i have to agree with ptriss, rbm & mack..................i don't know if i would want to do the same tx again. supposedly there's a new one in the works and coming out in the next couple of years, i'd be tempted to wait, or at least talk to my doc about it! if there's other kinds for slow-responders, i'd be asking doc about that, too!
maybe after you recover from the shock, you should ask about that.
just my opinion, it's your body, we'll be behind you either way, praying for you!

Oh sweetie that is such harsh news and I'm so sorry for you...what a confusing situation to have to face....but I also agree w/Mck and others....
Take you time before making any rush decisions as this is a big one but whatever you decide you have an entire group of friends here who luv and respect you and will be with you at your side during your journey....

Barb -- do you have a choice to wait for the better meds or get into a study? I'm so very sorry you have to go through this again. DS member C-sick relapsed too and she's going through what you are right now and that's the agony of what to do.

I asked my doc but he is not happy with the studies out there, he has a few patients in them now.

I'm sorry Barb, I hate to hear this, but please try to stay on the up side, Yes it is a hard blow but its not so much the blow its your reaction to the blow that makes the difference positive breeds positive negative ...negative.
