I am 49 years old. I am married and have 3 children ages 19,17 and 13. I just came from the doctor and to be honest and a little scared. He talked about diabetes, high blodd pressure and high cholesterol. I know that I am overweight and need to loose weight but short of having my jaw wired shut I don't know what to do. Help

Close Diabetes Type 2
I just came from the doctor who talked with me about type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I have to say he scared me a little, but short of having my jaw wired shut I don't know what to do. So I happened upon this site and here I am.
