      Hi, I am 30 years old and as a result of a bad car accident last month, I have 4 compression fractures in my thoracic spine and now a collapsed vertebrae. My doctor ordered a bone scan and I found out last week that I have osteoporosis. I started taking calcium plus D supplements and my dr. prescribed Actonel but I am very scared to start taking the prescription drug. I have heard many scary things. I feel so young to have this and am terrified of becoming severely hunchback...
