thanks for the ideas for the books. As much as I love to read, one of my disabilities is that I am extremely manic so it is hard to get past the first page .I do know I will be having foot surgery soon and it may be a good time to read.Take care and mega hug back,Luan

Thanks! I needed a hug. And you certainly ARE a resilient woman. My lover back in 1979 was a big fan of the Bastyr College and I took her there several times for treatment. She had been going to Dr. Bastyr for years.
My Seattle friends keep telling me what I imagine is true - the Seattle weather is worsening because of global warming. One friend of mine had a big mudslide hit her home last year. Do you think Seattle weather is changed for the worse? I don't know what to think. I've been away from there for five years. I spent a LOT of time trying to come up with a plan to move back there, but now that I'm in a wheelchair and know what it's like to be caught in the rain, walking a dog and trying to keep an umbrella from flying away, I don't know. I think so many old people come to Florida for the weather. They can still get out. If I had lesbian friends down here, I'd be happier. Sure of that. I have friends here, it's just that they are straight. And I'm their only gay friend. Ugh. I was planning on going to a church today - a gay and lesbian friendly church. But I was awake until 3 a.m. and just didn't have the energy to get dressed and find the place. I also have to get up my nerve. I used to go ANYWHERE new and never feel strange. But in a wheelchair, alone... I have to admit that I'm intimidated. Crazy to feel that way, but feelings have their own reasons for being, as they say. Thanks for your support! -
