Stay@homemom of 2 beautiful girls..have battled TMJ since braces in highschool..having lots of problems now and in need of treatments, support, etc..
Treatments
- Mouthguard Not Working
- I"ve worn a nighttime mouthgard for almost 10 years now..I developed TMJ after braces in highschool. At it's worst, my jaw locked closed, and my dentist had to gag me pretty hard to move the disc into the right place again. Thank God that worked. I went in 3 mo. ago to have my nightguard looked at, and he adjusted it, but that night if felt higher on one side. Now the good joint I had (right) is popping all the time, and I hear a grinding just like on the left. It's driving me crazy..
