Blessed mom of 3 little one's. I used to like to laugh a lot. And others too. Going through a lot this year. My oldest son has a Learning disability like me. We both have Aspergers. My 2 year old daughter has 30% hearing loss in one ear. Just found out this year. My father inlaw was born with a defective ears with hearing loss as well.

We'll be going over to my dad's for thanksgiving. His wife will cook and also everyone will bring something. I forgot to tell you, my son got a lot of help for his PDD-NOS which is in the autism spectrum disorders. There is hope, they can learn how to do better, in school and with other kids :) I love your photos! Did you take those?

Close Asperger Syndrome
I realize I may have it, about 2 years ago. Not diagnosed but taken the test. My son may be getting tested soon.
Open Hearing Loss & Deafness
Type: Conductive (Moderate)My oldest is Kam and 8, he is very funny and very creative. He was born this way and got his aid at age,3. He is hard of hearing, profound in one and flat moderate loss in other. Just found out he has LD and only learn visually like me. My second son is ZJ, age 4, he hears fine. My last gift is my little girl,TJ,just found out she has some hearing loss in one ear, 30%. She is doing fine They all are my world no matter how they were made. For both of my angels,can't play any action sports.
Treatments
- Hearing Aids Working / Worked
- He wears one aid in his ear he can hear some. We found out his cochlea is half grown. And a swollen Aqueduct also. TJ down the road may wear one..not sure yet.
- Sign Language Working / Worked
- he is doing great with ASL and in a school for the deaf/hoh
Open Epilepsy & Seizures
my 8 year old son is deaf in one ear, moderate loss in other. He has a undeveloped Cochlear and LVAS. He gets seizures while in school and about 40 seconds. Wonder if anyone else sees this while doing any paper work only. I think its over load. he is awake and just stairs. But people said he is not there.

waiting for my son to be tested soon this year or next. He has many other neuro problems and some weeks he is so hard to handle. Also here for my best friends Autistic son, he is 5.

my dad has it and I do, it happens a lot with numbers and spelling. and my 8 year old has it. he actually write numbers backwards, even a 5.
