I'm a sometimes impulsive, thoughtful guy who likes to give advice and get good advice as well. I've had a few relationships, some long-term & serious. Some friendships ruined by alcohol-fueled behavior. I love humor (it is indeed an essential tonic and enjoyable in and of itself).

Interests
Music and reading are integral parts of my existence. Life for me would not be enjoyable without the arts. Getting out of the city once in a while helps me stay sane as well. I have found that I need the open air quite often. I am interested in cultural things (primarily Asian & European). I love to go biking (Schwinn, not Harley) when I get the chance. I am interested in politics but (surprise, surprise!) I have found that most politicians are self-serving and crooked...

well slov, larry here, how ya doing man, still jamming with the bands these days, hope you recovered okay from the car issue, sounds like you had a goot trip, where'd ya HAWAII, well snow has arrived here in colorado, work is still under the storm waiting to see if a STRIKE will happen or not, in the mean tyme its goot to have a job.
i'am gonna miss the thursday recovery group meeting, i'am going to help out at our church foodbank, and also i have had some crazy work hours, and been fighting off a hellva a migrane headache,
i am gonna go checkout 2012 the movie this sunday nite with some friends,

I'm finding it extremely difficult to go without drinking alcohol.

- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- Still working on it. I got tired of my sponsor bugging me about going to meetings. Being harangued about going to damn meetings all of the time just adds to the stress.
- Cold Turkey Working / Worked
- Theories on how to quit drinking such as SMART Recovery and Rational Recovery have been extremely helpful and the most effective.
- Willpower Working / Worked
- It's working with help from my friend Non-drinker and some support groups.
Close Loneliness
to gain insight and help others if I can.
Open Depression
I know what it's like to experience depression.
