Aching and hurting
So, I've started jogging with my dog in the mornings, usually around 5:30am before I go to bed (hubby's shift has me up all night living the …
Ive been married to a Navy corpsman since 2004, and we've been trying to get pregnant the entire time. I've been diagnosed with PCOS, a bicornuate uterus, and he has a low sperm count. Our surrogate "children" include 2 cats Aflac and Rex, a southern alligator lizard named Oscar the Grouch, and an american pitbull terrier named Toni. Toni is currently in training to become a service dog to assist me with my social anxiety, and even with rudimentary training she's excellent at her job and knows what needs to be done. Our cat Rex is my special boy, he is autistic and has mild mental retardation along with an equilibrium imbalance (he falls off of things while sitting still), but I love him dearly because he's so special. Aflac is our half-feral scaredy cat/cuddle bear. He doesn't do well with strangers, but LOVES his mama and has to cuddle with me whenever I sit still for more than 2 minutes, and he looks just like a little teddy bear. All 3 of our "loose" pets (the dog and both cats, the lizard is caged so not a "loose" pet) have road construction type nicknames because they love to hang out in the middle of the walk way, and they range based on the size of the pet in question. Rex is our smallest (15 lbs), so he's "speed bump", Aflac is the middle weight (17 lbs), so he's "road block" and Toni is the heaviest (60 lbs), so she's "detour". And the funniest thing is all 3 will answer to their respective nicknames! By the way, that's Toni with Doc and I in my profile picture, that's all of us on our way to the corpsman ball this year.

I hate pms. I actually think I have pmdd to be honest. My mood swings have everyone walking on eggshells, and my poor dog is terrified of me …
So, after 5 years of trying to get pregnant, and being told that I needed to lose weight or being told that we'll have to wait because my husband …
hope positives keep coming and you get your baby this month!!
Just wanted to say Hi and see how things were going!
I am sorry you are having to go through all that..
...and this is for your spirit.
Because you need a big one!
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the last 5 years and between being told that he has a low sperm count (but is still fertile), I have PCOS, I'm too fat (my first doctor told me to lose 20 lbs and I'd get pregnant, I did, and I didn't), and that I have a bicornuate uterus working against us, it's been a very frustrating and heartbreaking journey.
I'm attempting to recover from debilitating separation anxiety regarding my husband, I've also got some social anxiety that I have a dog to assist me with.
I am a proud 3rd generation Navy wife married to a corpsman and looking to make friends with other military wives who aren't like some of the the gossipy bitches that I see here on the base where I live.
