Thanks My Dr seems to think that in my case , for now anyway, that the med is doing enuff that elimanating lactulose from my treatment is no problem.There are so many opinions out there ...

Close Cirrhosis
I have ESLD. Stopped drinking in Jan 07. Repeated Paracentisis for almost a year. Kidney failed due to electrolyte imbalance. Had TIPS, March 08. Meld dropped from 17 to 12 and now is 7. Was on transplant list, now am off.
