I had a bad accident at work on Jan. 30th 2008. I got hit in the leg just below the right knee by a drill pipe and it crushed it. After the 7th surgery I had to make a decision to amputate it, so on April 21st 2009 I went through wth the amputation. Just trying to adjust to my new life.

Close Amputees
I had a bad accident at work on Jan 30th 2008 I got hit by a 31 foot drill pipe a broke my right leg just under the knee we tried everything to save it and after the 7th surgery I hade to make the decision to amputate it so after a month a deliberation I decided to get it done I had it amputated on June 21st 2009 so I am still trying to adjust to it.
Treatments
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- I am in Physical Therapy now and walking
- Prosthetic Device Working / Worked
- Working great I've only had it for 3 weeks and I hate to have to take it off.
- Skin Graft Working / Worked
- It worked and looked good till I had my leg amputated
