OMG, I just saw that you are also a recovering alcoholic. I just celebrated 4 years in April. Congradulations on your huge achievement of 10 years. you are in such a good place to be going through this cancer. I was able to apply the AA program to my cancer on a daily basis. It helped me more than you can imagine. What a blessing.
I am 51, and just moved here to Omaha for a new position with the federal govt. When I accepted the position I had no idea I had NHL. I received my diagnosis after my gall bladder was removed in December. Coming to Omaha has turned into a blessing. This appears to be a good place to be if you want to be treated for lymphoma, and my doctor has really brightened my outlook. I start chemo next week, May 19, to rid myself of the rest of this blasted disease.
