I am the mother of 2 boys. The oldest is 6 years old and has been diagnosed with PDD. The younger passed away 3 years ago at one and a half years old. I work and go to school full time, as well as being the only person resposible for the care of my son.

I am Bi-polar and I have a 6 year old son who is PDD.
Treatments
- Behavior Management Too Soon to Tell
- Early Intervention Working / Worked
- Eary Intervention is doing wonders for my son.
- Physical Exercise Too Soon to Tell
- The public school system has been trying some different things with my son, but I don't see much effect. They say they do.
- Picture / Word Schedules Somewhat Helpful
- Pictures worked very well for a long time. We are working more towards my sons verbal communication now.
Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ChildI lost my year and a half old son 3 years ago on my brother's birhtday. That brother passed away when he was 7 years old, cancer. My heart will never be whole again.
Treatments
- Crying Somewhat Helpful
- It doesn't seem to help, and yet it still doesn't stop.
- Grief Counseling Not Working
- I truly dislike all types of doctors.
- Claravis Working / Worked
- I'd really rather not list them all. I hate them all.
Open Migraine Headaches
I have suffered from migreaines since I was a teen. They have become worse as I got older, and now I suffer daily headaches.
Treatments
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- I take 3 of these a day to keep pain tolerable. This amount should decrease as the topamax increases.
- Pamelor Working / Worked
- the doctor traded my medicatations out again... some days i think hes trying to make me worse from side effects, i dont know. we will see what this does
Open Bipolar Disorder
i was diagnosed as bi-polar im my late teens. Isn't it a shame you dont outgrow it??

- Group Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- I think therapy helped in my younger days.
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- Lamictal is the greatest! ok I love it... enough said.
