About Me
I work as an activitiy aide & teach arts & crafts to senior citizens. I\'ve just recently been diagnosed with RSD after 9 years of struggling with knee problem - surgery after surgery, then injury, then surgeries then staph infection, then slight injury - always pain but has gotten worse & painkillers didn\'t work & no one knew what was wrong - felt like no one cared & everyone thought I was a liar.

I love to make jewelry & dream of making a business out of it someday. It\'s my pain therapy - I work on it while watching TV or listening to music or a audio book. It keeps my mind busy so it helps me not think about the pain I\'m in. I love the outdoors, I used to be in the greenhouse industry & specialized in annuals & perennials I haven\'t done it in years & feel that my degree has gone to waste - my memory is bad & I cannot remember the things I learned about it all. I miss the smell of a greenhouse! I love my cats! They care for me & help me keep my spirits up =] I love to watch movies & go out with friends when I\'m able to.

I have not done nothing since we ended seeing each other. Just watching the kids one weekend then hanging out the next with a few casino trips mixed in. You know me, I like the relaxing route to calm my nerves. My bi-polar has been much better of late and all those wild anxiety ridden attacks stopped with the proper med. I always will hope the best for you. Keep in touch every once in a while, I won't bite.

Close Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy
I've had a long haul for 9 years of 5 surgeries on my L knee one being a bone graft & another I got a staph infection from so had to clean that 1 out w/ another surgery. I'm very blessed to have family that is here for me. I pray I will one day meet that someone that can understand it all & be by my side & I can help them out too =]

- helps with anxiety
- Clonidine Not Working
- I was working but I broke out in an awful rash with it that lasted for weeks after I took the patch off
- Mobic Working / Worked
- helps with the arthritis I have from so many surgeries
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- So far it seems to be working
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- It does better than all the pain meds they had meon for years that didn't work anymore. I have flair ups though & we are still working on getting it right (me being "new" to RSD-just diagnosed 1 1/2 months ago)
- TENS Working / Worked
- Helps most of the time (not all)during the day for the flair ups
- Tramadol Working / Worked
- helps a little but not much
- Voltaren Not Working
- Not working on my knee but was told to start using on my hip where I have compensation damage & pain

- I dont have to rally take this that much anymore but I take one a day if I am having a bad day

Open Chronic Pain
I've had "chronic pain" for almost 9 years with several surgeries over the past years...some thought made better but then I got hurt & then the biggie I got a staph infection during the 2nd to last & that did it in for me. Have new doctor that doesn't seem to think it's "in my head" & thinks it might be a form of RSD so he's treating it as such & the treatment is doing much better than any from the past years! Still lots more to go through though...
