I am learning I am more then my diagnoses and that they do not define me. I am a daughter, a sister and a loyal friend. I am also very tender hearted, a romantic, funny and creative. I am like the fall leaves- colorful and ever changing. I find my greatest joy when I am serving others and helping them feel loved. Interests: home decorating, stamping, card making, plays and musicals, watching old movie classics, kayaking and camping.

Where are you, my friend? I'm hoping you're okay. Take care of you KR:)
sorry for the very very late reply, but ive been doing well and sorry to hear about your absence due to the crohn's. I am continuing my self treatment with no medications. but i just did some research on a prescription called LDN. (low dose naltrexone). I am going to start taking it. The results and personal stories about its effectiveness are amazing and it works with my ideal that crohn's is not autoimmune at all. Instead of suppressing the immune system (like all other crohn's treatments), it boosts it tremendously. Go here: http://www.lowdosenaltrexone.org/i...#What_is_low_dose_naltrexone
Welcome back, glad you are feeling better.
Hi Heartsong~ it's so good to hear from you. Hope we can catch up, too. Sorry to hear you weren't doing so well....but I'm glad you're better now

I was diagnosed with OCD in 2003. It has been quite a journey for me as I have strived to come to understand this mental condition and learn to live the best life I can with the limitations that come with this. My OCD manifests itself in cleaning, eating and alignment rituals and I have many intrusive thoughts and mental rituals. Sometimes It feels like it is too much to bear and other times it is more manageable.
I have struggled with Depression my entire life. Each day I learn more about myself and how to cope with a life with Depression.
I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease in 2008. It has been a very discouraging and painful journey. I am now doing a lot better and I am managing my Crohn's and able to live a more full life. I hope that this will continue.
I was diagnosed with this when I was 14. The symptoms of this condition cause me great sorrow.
