I have just accomplished that myself and I am proud of you. It is really hard for me to balance now since I had brain surgery but I love to do it so I try and try.

Close Brain / CNS Tumors
Type: Ependymoma12 years living with DNS cancer. Haven't met anyone with an Ependymona and so I'm looking for someone that can relate.
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Not Working
- Misstreated because Ependos don't respond to chemo. Oncologist didn't bother to research other options for me. Lost my hair for nothing
- Gamma Knife Working / Worked
- Really a piece of cake
- Radiotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- I guess I was lucky because my only side effect was exhaustion and permanent hair loss in an area that doesnt show
- Surgery Working / Worked
- have back pain from spine surgery 4 years later
- Surgery, Brain Working / Worked
- 95% removed Extremely painful and very long recovery
- Temodar Not Working
- Doesnt work on slow growing tumors. Chemo works on active abnormal cells, so with slow growers the activity is too slow and inconsistent. Youd have to be on this pill for a long time for it to have much effect.
