Went to Marie Callender's for brunch, and did somewhat better this time:

Much better than the last day I went to Marie Callender's....because I didn't eat any pie!
If I hadn't had the last little snack, would even have come in "under" goal.
OK, I'm learning!!!
Last night I did my first "Tabata"....which is supposed to rev up my metabolism. I did "thrusters".....squats with 5 lbs dumbbells that you raise up above the head on the upward movement of the squat.....
I am really really really feeling it in my thights right now.....but I actually feel quite proud of myself. Supposedly only have to do this 3 times per week. I think I'll try it with an elliptical machine tomorrow so as not to aggravate the already aching thighs in the same places....
I ordered the GPX supplements suggested by one of our group members, and can't wait for them to come. The fiber will be great, and it is supposed to help with blood sugar control as well as making me feel fuller. The "empty" feeling has been part of my difficulty so far, so I'm hoping the supplements will help! I can definitely use the fiber!

You're doing a great job with the exercising and the eating. You're learning from your mistakes and I know that is an onging process, but we get a little better each day. I looked up the tabata method on the web. I think I probably can't do most of the exercises, but it says to go really hard for 20 seconds then slow for 10 and keep switching off, so I think I'll try that with the treadmill. Can't hurt. I'll see how it goes for me and let you know. Keep on doing a great job. I admire your "sticktoitiveness".
