      I am just accepting that things were wrong when I was a child. My sister has always had her head on the best. My brother seems less effected. Both siblings live 3000+ kilometers away and I'm the only one with grandchildren to these people we call parents.

      I'm a father of a boy (12) and a girl (9).

      Physical and emotional abuse by a control freak father. Both siblings moved far enough away. I'm only recognizing the control issues have a serious impact on me at 40 yrs old ... he still manipulates with calling up to 8 times a day ... but stopped after repeated reminders that I need space.
