I am a Russian attractive female. I have a loving husband,but no health insurance at all, because I came to US in 2004, my husband never bothered to buy any insurance for me. It came from nowhere like a punishment.I cant work right now because of the pain.I have h pylori gastritis and some symptoms of IBS as well(I am bloated and gassy)+ some anxiety because I am tired of being sick. I am at home, reading the forums. I know I am not alone, I want us all to recover, guys, God help us all guys

Thank you..yeah I just tried lexapro yesterday and I had strange sensations in my chest and I had to take 4 ativan from midnight to seven am and I woke at eleven in a state of panic..not for me. But Im running out of options my life is spinning downward quickly and my kids are suffering from me being sick :(

Thank you for the hug. I am actually blessed with a good doctor who doesn't even bring up about just being nerves or anything like that. They are really working with me but since I just found out it spread throughout my colon, I'm scared it could be cancer and not sure how to deal with that, let alone telling my mom.

Hi there. I am in some type of pain every day for the most part. No H Pylori here but Gastritis nonetheless. I am not taking meds, I was taking Prilosec but it did nothing. I am taking natural stuff though, Probiotics and Alo Vera Juice to help hopefully i the healing. Frustrating isnt it?

I also was brought to ER with heart palpitations several times . They found nothing with my heart. But they said it was an anxiety. My chest got really tight and I was short of breathing. But nobody could understand at first it was a gastritis. Those palpitations you might have from heartburn, because its in you esophagus. With me they found h pylori bacteria after endoscopy and inflammed stomach lining wich is gastritis. But remember I was in ER 10 times with chest pain from gastritis.
Treatments
- Carafate Working / Worked
- I dont know if it is working yet, but I started religiously taking it 4 times a day 1 gram.It has positive reviews that it does help.
- Dietary Modification Working / Worked
- I stay on very simple foods. Cant eat like I used to
- Prevacid Not Working
- I tried it for 2 days ,I was wheezing on it and short of breath. Stopped it
- Protonix Working / Worked
- I am on it 40 mg twice a day.It pushes the acid away from your chest(helps heart burn) but it also gives me stomach cramps and it hurts under the ribs too
- Librax Working / Worked
- helps a little to relax the muscles 3 times dailynot much help though still feel some pain. It helps me to go through the day without the real painkillerpercoset.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Bad addictive drug everyone knows that.But what can you do if you need to sleep and relax? I Cant do it with pain.I use them only at night 5325.I have to take ambien too on top of that cause percocet alone doesnt make me sleep just kills my pain.
Close GERD & Heartburn
I am a 41 year old female. Have been diagnosed with gerd and h pylori gastritis. I am a mother of 18 year old son. I live in Florida and I hope to get better soon. Tired of being sick. Wish you all very quick recovery, guys. Sucks being sick.

- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- Can't drink juices, milk products, Eat just rice , bread, chicken, turkey, dry cereal, yogurt(fat free)I am confused what I can't eat and what I can.
- Baking Soda Not Working
- Never tried it
- Carafate Too Soon to Tell
- I have been taking it for a few days,but again they say 4-8 weeks is the time to tell.
- Prilosec Not Working
- I was wheezing on it, take protonix instead
- Protonix Working / Worked
- I am on it. It helps GERD, but makes my chest tight
- Raising Bed Position Working / Worked
- all the time
- Reglan Not Working
- Never tried that, they have lawsuits for this medication.Too many side effects
- Librax Working / Worked
- Helps for stomacch cramps a bit but not severe pain.
