I am 23 years old and a student at Devry. I recently got married in 2008 and it has been quite the journey with me being sick and my husband trying to deal with it all..but he is a trooper! I love to write and perform music, I am also on the praise and worship team with my church.

i have been suffering from anxiety since the age of ten. This past year it has gotten so bad that I cannot work and cannot hardly go somewhere that I don't consider "safe". I have lost a scary amount of weight due to appetite loss and constant nausea from the anxiety but I have been working with a personal trainer and he is helping me gain my weight back. Other symptoms I have are nausea, diarrhea, constipation, heart skipping beats, heart palpitations, dizziness, lump in throat/throat constriction, shortness of breath, chest pain, abdominal aches. I am currently in counseling and will possibly begin a medication in June.

- Ativan Working / Worked
- Got addicted and abused it for a year then tried to OD with it.....it works great but HORRIBLY addictive...at least for me...if you can do it in moderation it will be awesome for you...I had zero side effects...
- Effexor Not Working
- Bad stomach side effects after day one so they took me off of it...
- Klonopin Considering
- I was on this once before and did pretty good with it...considering going back on it for a month or so.. don't remember if I had any side effects...I don't think I did..
- Meditation Working / Worked
- I do relaxation CD's and they do help calm you down..
