Hi. Thank you so much for the hug and for your support! It means a lot to me. Thank you for your suggestions too, I will definitely keep those in mind. I know my doc said I couldn't be on the Cymbalta b/c I'm already on a different antidepressant. I am not familiar with the other one though, so I will look into it. I'm so sorry your doc thinks you may have fibro too. Keep me updated on how you're doing!
Hug
My pleasure. I hope you find relief quickly.

Thanks for your support.I feel like reacting in anger and calling every agency and the newspaper, but I'm going to take this one step at a time with the advice of a lawyer and do it the right way. Hugs back to you. Sandy

Thanks for the comment, I just wanted to spread a little hope because I know how awful this disease is!

Treatments
- Arava Somewhat Helpful
- Beginning this July 09. This has been somewhat helpful - but not entirely. We are adding Humira after 8 weeks.
- Folic Acid Somewhat Helpful
- Dr. has changed this after 8 weeks on MTX to Folinic Acid - hoping this assists with side effects.
- Humira Somewhat Helpful
- Noticed marked improvement in my hands 3 or 4 days after my first injection.
- Leucovorin Working / Worked
- Have stopped this - as I've stopped the MTX. Dr. changed me from folic acid to Folinic Acid Leucovorin after 8 weeks on MTX. The goal is to lessen side effects well see how it goes.... update: noticed a difference the first week, thought it was a fluke, but two weeks in, taking this 12 hours after my MTX is making a huge difference for me.
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- Was taken off of MTX July 09 - after 14 weeks it wasn't doing what we needed it to do (side effects vs. positive effects) . Lots of fatigue and brain fog. Dizziness, nausea, but not too bad on that one - I'm usually out of it for at least one day (sometimes as long as 3 or 4) after taking it.
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Do not take this daily any longer. After 5 months I weaned off - now will use it for flares only (if I can manage).
- Tramadol Too Soon to Tell
- Beginning Nov 09
- Mobic Too Soon to Tell
