Today was my 6 month check-up by my GYN/Onc - and I am done with all my treatments!
Everything looked great and the next time that I see the doctor is just before Christmas for a regular exam and lab work.
Then, it's another 3 months before I see her for my one year check-up. Just before that one in March, I'll also have a CT scan. Dr Walsh mentioned being pretty conservative about CT scans; yearly at the most.
And that's it - I'm now back to the "new normal," I'm done with all that cancer stuff and doctor's appointments - on to something more fun . . .
