About Me
I'm currently an Event Coordinator in NYC - been workin' for the same company for 2 years, and I love it. I'm a social butterfly who loves to try new things...I'm just having trouble finding people to share those new experiences with. Grew up in NJ, attended school in Providence, RI...now, I'm just trying to figure out what the hell I want for myself...and I can actually thank my ex for bringing that to my attention when I was forced to face it. I'm new to this myself and having trouble not looking up info on computer re her OM (we're still in same house pending D). I wish I could offer more beyond getting out as much as possible. Someone suggested a gratitude list to me and that really helped - difficult at first but built with time and good to review during bad moments.

I'm so sorry to see your in such a bad place right now. I know from experience what it's like when your love is like a fire and your partner's more like a cigarette. I just about gave up on it but I will tell you....... To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
You can take that for what it's worth. I just hope one day that you'll be able to laugh as much as you breathe. You deserve it. Like alway,,,take care.

On 11/30/07, I found out that my boyfriend (R) was cheating on me. We were together for 3 years. He left me for her. One of the last things he said to me was, "I know I broke your heart, but GET OVER IT." R wound up getting his new woman pregnant 2 months into their relationship, they had the baby, and now they're engaged. He contacted me a month ago apologizing for everything, expressing regret, and asking if we could be friends again. I replied with, "Hell no." It hasn't been easy.
