I'm 31 years old. My husband and I have been together for 9 years, married for 3 years. We decided to begin trying for a baby in July of 2008. My husband has low testosterone (hypogonadism). After trying for 6 months we knew that his issues were probally going to keep us from getting pregnant. He seen an urologist in January 2009 to find out that he had low sperm count and low FSH. Doctor put him on 25ML a day of clomid for 3 months to see if it would raise sperm count. After 3 full months on clomid DH's sperm count had risen to 6.3 million. His Urologist suggested that we see a RE. After getting in with with best RE that we could find, the doctor added HCG trigger for my husband 2x a week. RE agreed that IUI would be our best bet at this point in time, so we began meds the following week. I am taking Femara and Ovidrel. We recently went in for our 1st IUI on Monday, June 15, 2009 with 3 mature folicles (18, 17, 13) and to our surprise, for the first time EVER..my husband sperm count was 136 million after the wash!! THIS WAS GREAT!! Our 2nd IUI we had 112 million after the wash! Count is staying up but no luck so far..We did a 3rd IUI with no luck also with a count of over 200 million!! We have done one month of injectables (Gonal-f) and Femara and I over-stimmed...SO here I am with our 2nd month of injectables and a 4th IUI!

Take some gas-x. When my friend had her appendix removed they pumped her full of air. They told her to take gas-x to help get rid of it. Hope you feel better soon :)

Husband was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago with hypogonadism at the age of 25. Doc put him on gel at first, then swapped to injections to increase testoterone. Now we are trying to get pregnant so he came off the injections and began using clomid nearly 3 months ago.
