Hey, when you pick your stop date, why not start coming on the daily roll call and daily pledge discussions and let us count down with you? It really helps me to check in daily and it keeps everyone aware that I'm out there struggling. Think about it. Let's do this thang!

Sheema, I did download the quit counter and it did work. Let me know if I can help you with that. The book isn't really well written because the author isn't a writer and it's repetitive, which is actually helpful grasping his points. He hit the nail on the head for me. I was looking at smoking in the worst possible way and now, just by looking at things in a new light, I'm really not struggling at all. Day 5 for me. Get ready and come with me, you and yours deserve a healthy you!

Did you quit? I haven't noticed you on the board. Have you read the free book http://nerukom.googlepages.com/all...
It helped me a TON with my attitude. I'm on day 4 with Chantix. Let's do this thang!

GREAT sheema!!! I know how you must be feeling since I have just recently been there. AWESOME feeling isnt it. For me the absolute first 6 weeks were the hardest I am bi-polar and believed weed was my best medicine, along with the prescribed stuff. Little did I know how much it interfered with my prescribed meds. So the first weeks were HELL,coming off the weed and getting on the right meds since mhy brain was sooo very use to weed,it went into "shock" I think. Just a small piece of advice..after the 3 months mark I had a couple of really hard days(and I think in the past that why I always went back, thought it was suppose to get easier, not harder)I finally learned thru this support group that thats considered the "honeymoon" stage. Thats just a "heads up" if you go thru something like that, keep pushin on and you will be so glad you did!! Again great job on a month clean!!! OHHHH what a feeing!!!!!!!((((HUGS))))

It took a lot of willpower and hard work to quit and I feel so much better now. I quit smoking and 2 months later I was going through a divorce. Stayed smoke free! Set your mind to it...build up willpower...and you can do anything. (hugs)
