  Your Welcome! I just had to point out that the doctors have no way of knowing which course the disease will take so they treat us all like course 3 - so they should... at least until they know differently. I think everyone will become stage 3 its just a matter of time until something really set the disease off. Then they are in the same boat as us!
  Hang in there... your docs will find what works sooner or later. Let's hope its sooner!

  I have been on Orencia since July and the jury is still out. The doc says it takes a full 6 months to see if it works, that will be in JAnuary. I am on the Orencia promise program, they pay the first 6 months for the drug, but you have to have insurance to be eligable. Each infusion costs approximately $4,000k so you need to call Orencia and your local hospital who would do it if they can help you with the cost. Good luck!hugs, marcia

  Wasn't certain if I should send chicken soup, good luck, or a get well. Then decided a prayer is probably best hoping that it is the prednisone spiking your sugar levels.

  I have basically the same issues and the pain is continual and terrible especially at night, that's the worst for me. Medrol was the worst thing ever, so I share your experience there also. good luck and be well

  I just wanted to give you a gentle hug of encouragement. I have a daughter your age and just know how your life may feel like a train wreck right now, but try to stay strong and focused on getting answers and meds that will work for you. I'm really new to this too so I can't speak to the future, and I've learned here even though we are fighting this disease together, everyone is different. But I have gotten great information and support from this DS / RA family and I wish that for you too. Rose
