WOW major renovation to our house. Built in the late 50's and built very poorly, well back then it was great! The garage is caving in so it is the 1st thing up for repairs. Living on the river is nice but the deck has rotted as well, again the original deck. So we are getting a new roof on the garage, siding on it and the house. A new deck and that's it for now.
My hubby has done drywall in the past so we have 1 bedroom, bathroom and the kitchen has had a face lit but will be the last to fix.
All this work, and 1 income! YES debt is our middle name. ARGH
The price we paid for it was great and if we ever re sale it we could get more than 100% than we paid for it!
All will be good in time.
