creeping up Mood
Saturday, May 9, 2009 | A General Update story

Yesterday was my last day off work...Got the kids to school and had a busy day planned,,few phone calls, garden to tend too, shopping and a trip to the gym... Well did it pan out like that... pfffttt... not a chance. We got a phone call from school from one of lukes teachers..apparently he'd been in school for registration then decided to bunk off with a few of his friends.. Tried to text and phone him but he did not reply...are all teenagers like this?? He never answers his phone !!

Anyway he was found along with 2 boys and a girl having a very enjoyable early lunch in Mcdonalds...grrrrrrrr.  He was taken back to school and put in seclusion all day and now awaits further more punishment and detentions. I could write more, and usually do...lol  I finally got to the gym at 8pm...very stressed and with some negative thoughts creeping up on me... I cant stress enough to anyone with depression and anxiety the benefits of going to the gym or any other form of exercise for that matter..I got home feeling much better, had a shower, sat down to check my emails then fell asleep at my keyboard....lol.  I always do that lol.

Today we are going upto my youngest son's school for a plant and gift sale day... It's always a good day out and it's really great to see all the kids getting involved...So glad J goes to this school..they have been brilliant in supporting him with his Autism..and to think we were going to go for mainstream education...omg..I shudder to think how things would be for J if we had..

peace,love and lights

My son can't cope with mainstream....it has failed 3 times.
At the moment, he is 'out of school'.
I have been in touch with our MP, about how we have been treated by the LEA here. I have complained to the health visitors, NAS, and the autism trust.
I am going to see his pediatrician soon! If the education department won't listen to me, they will have to listen to some of these other people.
I think our LEA is negligent, and has put us through unecessary suffering.
I'm glad your little boy is happy at school! That is all I want for my son right now!
I hope you will have a good weekend. Hugs, Ellie.

I'm sorry your son is misbehaving. I was a rebellious teen too, hopefully it's just a phase and he'll grow out of it. Exercise is always a positive outlet! Sweat out your frustrations at the gym-blowing off some steam that way always helps~Take Care,Katie
