      I was diagnosed 1 year ago with UC. I have not gone into remission yet! I am hoping to get some advice

      Treatments

      Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
      I just watch what I eat.
      Dietary Modification Somewhat Helpful
      Lialda Working / Worked
      I am currently taking Lialda & the trips to the bathroom have slowed down
      Prednisone Working / Worked
      Yes! It helped while I was on it but I started bleeding right after I was off it. Bad side effects
      Probiotics Working / Worked
      I feel they are working
      Remicade Working / Worked
      My doc. want's to put me on this but I dont think it is for me
      Surgery Considering
      Last resort
